The Psychiatry Research Trust
needs Your help now.
Mental illness is devastating.
No age is exempt - autism and hyperactivity in childhood,
anorexia, alcoholism and drug addiction in young adults, Motor
Neurone Disease, Depression, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in adults,
dementia and Parkinson's disease in the elderly. Many more
conditions affect those of all ages.
Scientists at the Institute
of Psychiatry are seeking better ways of preventing and treating
mental illness and brain disease. It will be more effectively
related and more easily prevented as long as the resources
are available to fund essential research.
Your help is desperately needed.
You may donate online through JustGiving,
a website that handles donations for charities by clicking
on the button below.

All donations made finance
cutting-edge research at the Institute of Psychiatry and Bethlem
Royal and Maudsley Hospitals. For a list of projects and researchers
who have been funded by the PRT please click on the research
page. If you would like to make a donation to fund a specific
area of research - for example schizophrenia or Alzheimer's
disease, or any other area of mental health or brain disease
then your donation can be placed in an earmarked fund for
solely that purpose. When sending your donation please state
the purpose for which you would like it to be used.
Thank
you for contributing towards a better understanding of mental
illness
