The Institute is the dark brick building, half-way along the South side of De Crespigny Park (see Street view).

 

By Bike There are plenty of secure cycle racks and shower facilities for cyclists.
Transport for London will post you cycle route maps for free.

By Train Denmark Hill Station is adjacent to the Institute of Psychiatry and the Maudsley Hospital. It can be reached by trains from Victoria and London Bridge. Live train departure times from Denmark Hill can be seen here
Loughborough Junction Station is about 20 minutes walk away and is served by Thameslink trains from London Blackfriars via Elephant and Castle.

By Bus Denmark Hill buses: 40, 68, 176, 185, 468 and 484.
Camberwell Green buses: 12, 35, 36, 42, 45, 345 and 171.

By Tube The nearest tube stations are Oval and Elephant and Castle from where the journey has to be completed by bus.

By Car Parking is not possible within the Institute grounds. It is possible, though difficult, to park for free in some of the nearby streets and there is pay and display parking on Decrespigny Park.
If you are driving through central London to reach the Institute you should be aware of the Congestion Charging which applies to most vehicles.
