biography
My research focuses on the neurodevelopmental changes following early brain injury and on the identification of neuroanatomical biomarkers for schizophrenia.
activities and interests
processes of neuronal plasticity; functional MRI of high order cognitive functions, neuroimaging predictors of the development of psychosis in those at high risk
teaching activities
Postgraduate
PhD supervision on 1. the long-term sequelae of very preterm birth and 2. the identification of functional biomarkes in schizophreia
MSc Mental Health Studies Programme
Module leader ’Mind and Brain’
Maudsley Forum
Since 2002 I have been involved in the planning and implementation of the “Maudsley Forum - A course for European psychiatrists”, organised by Professor R. Murray and other colleagues at the Institute of Psychiatry. This is an annual weekly course for selected junior psychiatrists from European countries.
