biography

Dr Radua received his Medical Degree from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2003. He completed a Psychiatry internship at the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge (Barcelona) in 2008. He also received a Degree in Statistics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2010, being given the prize awarded to the most outstanding graduate.

He is nowadays specialized in neuroimaging research of psychiatric disorders.

activities and interests

Affective neuroscience

Neuroimaging and epidemiological research into mechanisms of emotion and emotional dysregulation in psychiatric disorders

Voxel-based meta-analysis

Development and application of Signed Differential Mapping, a new meta-analytic method for voxel-based neuroimaging studies, to investigate a range of psychiatric disorders.

Development of new neuroimaging software

♦   Occ package for R  link. This package may be used to estimate PET neuroreceptor occupancies with different fitting different methods.

♦   SDM algorithms and graphical interface  link. This program may be used to meta-analyse neuroimaging studies using techniques such as fMRI, PET, VBM or DTI.
